Live-Sync Presets
What it does
Live-Sync watches the Plarium Play process and re-reads roster state whenever you change something in Raid: mastery reset, gear swap, level-up, new champion fused, preset edit. Changes show up in RSL Tool within ~1 second — no ↻ Refresh click needed.
It also enables writing AI presets back to the game — so you can build a preset in RSL Tool and have it appear in Raid’s preset slot without manual JSON copy-paste.
How to enable
- Import your account via Plarium Play attach. Live-Sync doesn’t work with static JSON dumps.
- That’s it — Live-Sync is automatically active whenever the top-right indicator reads Connected. There is no separate Live-Sync toggle.
To pause Live-Sync without disconnecting entirely, use Detach Live Sync in Settings → Connection to Raid (covered in Account import).
What gets synced

Writing presets BACK to Raid
This is a Premium feature (turn_order_preset in the quota catalog — 20/week on Premium, unlimited on Founders). Workflow:
- Build or edit a preset in RSL Tool (AI Preset editor or Boss Advisor output).
- Click Save to Raid → slot N.
- RSL Tool writes the preset into the chosen in-game slot. The change is visible in Raid within ~2 seconds.
Pre-flight checks
Before every read/write, Live-Sync runs a tiny pre-flight check to make sure Raid is on a safe screen (main menu, not in-battle, not in-loading-transition). If the check fails, the operation aborts silently and surfaces an error in the activity log. Trying again from the main menu usually works.
What if I don’t want auto-sync
Toggle Live-Sync off in Settings. The app falls back to manual refresh — you click ↻ Refresh to re-read roster state. All other features keep working; only the automatic real-time updates stop.
Common questions
Status pill stays red
Two likely causes:
- Raid is not on the main screen. Live-Sync pauses during battles and loading screens. Return to the main menu.
- Plarium Play was relaunched without restarting RSL Tool. Toggle Live-Sync off then on to re-attach.
Stats don’t update after I change masteries
Confirm Live-Sync is on (green pill). If it is, the change might still be in-game's animation phase — wait 5 seconds. If it persists, click manual ↻ Refresh as a one-shot workaround and report via Discord.
Battery drain
Live-Sync polls process state on a 1-second cadence — about 0.5% CPU on M-series Macs. Disable when running on battery and away from your charger if you’re sensitive to it.
